Canalability is an Essex based charity. They have adapted canal boats which can be hired. These provide the opportunity for people with disabilities and special needs to enjoy boating on the water.

The canal boats can be hired exclusively for groups of up to 10 or 12 people, for a four hour day trip.

The boats have a range of facilities on board that make it possible for disabled people to access and enjoy them. These include ramps, lifts, and hoist points. Their focus is on ‘Ability, not disability‘.
