If you are a student with a learning difficulty, Disabled Student's Allowance can provide extra support to help with your studies.

DSA can help with:-

  • Day to day costs of studying that are related to your disability, such as photocopying costs
  • Specialist equipment that you may need, for example a laptop or disability related software. 
  • A non medical helper, for example a British Sign Language Interpreter.  This person cannot be your  friend or family member. 
  • Extra travel to attend your course or placement because of your disability
